Tutor/Assessor 6 months contract Crewe We are seeking a Tutor/Assessor for engineering apprenticeships This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation who value and appreciate staff, offering excellent prospects JOB ROLE * To deliver Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechanical and Electrical pathways for standard Mechatronics pathway and level 3 maintenance and operations engineering technician (MOET) * Deliver Level 2 Foundation Competence. * Deliver Level 3 Development Competence. * Level 3 Development Knowledge * Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom/workshop environment * Complete guidance and mock end point assessments to ensure learners are ready for independent assessment * Embed Mathematics and English * To coach and mentor learners * To work with a caseload of learners * Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time * Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development * Produce reports based on KPIs ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE * A UK recognised teaching qualification such as Cert ed, CTTS/DTTLS etc or assessor qualified such as TAQA, AVA, A1, D32/D33 * Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism BENEFITS: * Salary £34K to £37K pro rata * Mileage paid * 37 hours per week * Generous holiday entitlement * Pension Scheme * All equipment is provided to complete the role * Development opportunities through our own in-house programs and recognised qualifications
