Sessional Lecturer - IT


The School of Employability at South Thames College are now seeking engaging and inspiring Sessional Lecturers in IT to teach any of the following:

  • L2 Certificate in IT User Skills (TQUK)
  • L3 Certificate in IT User Skills (IDCL Advanced) (ITQ) (BCS)
  • L3 Certificate in AI Programming with Python (TQUK)
  • L3 Certificate in Coding Practices (NCFE)
  • L2 Certificate in Digital Marketing (TQUK)
  • L3 Certificate in Social Media for E-Commerce (Gateway)
  • L3 Certificate in Web Design (NCFE)

The courses will be delivered face-to-face (classroom) at South Thames College’s Wandsworth campus. All courses are evening classes.

With a relevant professional qualification in an IT subject and/or industry experience of working with IT, we would like you to hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) with excellent current teaching skills in IT. You’ll have demonstrable commitment to relevant continuous professional development including mandatory training with experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations’ standards.

You’ll have a high level of computer literacy and practical digital skills, including experience delivering remote learning with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and good attention to detail.
