Part-Qualified Accountant

MAC Recruit Group Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be supporting a hugely successful organisation in Hampshire as they seek to appoint a Part-Qualified Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a vital member of the growing team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the financial reporting. You'll work closely with various departments to maintain financial integrity and support the continued success of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project and cost center managers to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Oversee accruals, pre-payments, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Approve freelancers' invoices, bank payments, and ensure compliance with HMRC reporting, including P11Ds and PSA
• Maintain accurate financial records and data, ensuring proper reconciliation of balance sheets, intercompany transactions, and timesheets

Qualifications:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role
• Excellent IT literacy
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
