7.5T Delivery Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is offering an exciting opportunity for 7.5T Drivers to join a well-established company based in Southampton. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering home improvement materials to both commercial and residential properties, with assistance from a driver's mate.

About the Role:

• Vehicle: Driving a 7.5T truck.
• Shift Start Time: Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
• Contract Length: Ongoing work, working 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday).
• Shifts: 8 to 10 hours per day, with potential for overtime.
• Key Duties:
  • Delivering home improvement goods across the South Coast.
  • Heavy lifting involved, with the assistance of a driver's mate for manual handling and directions.
  • Ensuring safe, timely deliveries to commercial and residential areas.

What We're Looking For:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• No DD's or DR's on your driving record.
• Own transport for commuting to work.
• Minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Willing to work alongside a driver's mate for lifting and route assistance.
• Good local knowledge of the South Coast area.
