Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to take full ownership of financial processes across multiple companies, initially on a Standalone basis. This role offers excellent career progression and would suit a Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Senior Bookkeeper looking for the next step. If you have CIS background this would be advantageous but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Management Accounts: * Full preparation of monthly management accounts * Profit & loss reporting and variance analysis * Balance sheet reconciliations * Cash flow forecasting and budgeting * Supporting business decisions with financial insights Financial Operations & Reporting: * Overseeing accounts for x3 companies * VAT returns and compliance * Payroll processing for 25 employees (desirable) * CIS returns (desirable) * Managing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries Systems & Compliance: * Working with Sage 50 to maintain accurate financial records * Ensuring financial compliance and best practices * Liaising with external accountants and stakeholders Benefits: * Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience) * Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Full-time or Part-time considered) flexible hours can be discussed. * Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays * Location: Fully office-based - must be able to drive to Knowsley This is a fantastic opportunity to take full responsibility in a growing business.
