Financial Accountant

This professional organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join them on an initial 15 month fixed term contract. This is a full time position working on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office and 2 from home) . Responsibilities * Lead the preparation of the year end Statutory Accounts, with responsibility for managing the audit process with the external Auditors. * Responsibility for the HMRC / Customs matters of the business, including VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE. * Preparation of Quarterly Consolidated Accounts. * Responsible for the management of the Treasury processes, including relevant reporting and forecasting. * Preparation of monthly Management Accounts, with particular responsibility for the accounting of accruals and prepayments. * Support the Financial Controller in the management and development of internal controls and processes. * Assist with the preparation of the Annual Plan. * Assistance & liaison with Accounts Payable position. * Ad-hoc duties, including departmental cover during holidays and absences as required. * Comply with with company regulations, policies and procedures. * Any other duties as reasonably required by the Finance Director and business.
