Estimator & Contracts Manager £36k per annum, plus benefits Brighouse, HD6 Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week We are working with our Brighouse based client to recruit a highly experienced Estimator and Contracts Manager to assist with setting up, running and growing the project side of their business. Duties & Responsibilities: * Compiling and submitting competitive tenders and winning projects * Mobilising, running, and overseeing the completion of projects * Ensure the smooth running of the project side of the business, ensuring that all projects are booked in and run on time, materials are ordered, and jobs are completed to a high standard * Responsible for managing direct employees and sub-contractors on site * Dealing with any daily issues as they arise, client liaison, ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times and conducting toolbox talks * Responsible for overseeing larger quotations giving input into pricing before tenders are submitted * Ensuring all quotations are followed up with a view to converting as many as possible into orders * Responsible for the cost, timescale, profitability, health and safety compliance, and complaints once each project is underway Person Specification/Skills Required: * Highly experienced with tendering and estimating for work pricing methods LMP, SOR and JCT contracts * IOSH safety certification (minimum) or equivalent * Experienced in a construction – general building, roofing, specialist building products, access equipment, scaffolding, and truck mounted cherry pickers * Strong management and leadership skills (subcontractors and direct employees) * Excellent communication skills along with ambition and drive to complete projects * Commercial awareness for pricing and managing budgets * Full UK driving licence Concept Recruitment are acting as Employment Agency in relation to this role
