Assistant Management Accountant

CMA is delighted to be recruiting for our client, a successful and specialist engineering industry sector business based in Poole, Dorset. Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent basis.

Our client is offering an excellent salary range of GBP32,000 to GBP40,000 per annum and additional benefits including study support and an early finish on Fridays.

You will report into the Group Financial Controller and be in a varied position where you will play a crucial part in producing management accounts within this growing international business.

What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?

• Assisting in the production of the management accounts to strict deadlines.
• Producing month end reports for senior management.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting to senior management.
• Assisting in the preparation of the budget and forecast for all activities.
• Assisting in transactional finance, ensuring all is correctly allocated in the system.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:

• You will be experienced assisting in management accounts with transactional accounting knowledge.
• International industry sector and multicurrency experience in highly beneficial.
• Confident using accounting packages and Excel to a Vlookup and Pivot Table level.
• You will be AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA and keen to progress and develop.
