Estimator Hilton £50 - £55,000 Are you a detail-oriented Estimator with a passion for accuracy and cost control in construction projects? Construo Recruitment are recruiting an Estimator for our client who is a civil engineering and building contractor. About the Role: As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting tenders and budgets, including obtaining supporting quotations for subcontract work, materials and plant. You will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for a range of construction projects. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing detailed cost estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness * Analysing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine project requirements * Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors * Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality * Collaborating with project managers and clients to refine estimates * Keeping up to date with market trends and pricing fluctuations Requirements: * Proven experience as a Construction Estimator * Must have Main Contractor working experience * Experience working in Energy, Flood defence and water, Effluent treatment, Waste management, Retail and Commercial is preferred * Experience working in Industrial buildings, small/medium scale civil engineering projects, drainage and concrete structures is necessary * Working contract knowledge - NEC3 Options A and B, JCT, ICE * Civil Engineering and/or Quantity Surveying degree * Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations Why apply? * A well-established company with a strong reputation in the industry * Opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects * Competitive salary and benefits package * Career progression and professional development opportunities Please send an updated CV for further details on the Estimator role
