Teacher of A-Level Economics Are you a qualified teacher of Economics with experience within secondary schools or colleges? We are working with a fantastic, Ofsted rated outstanding sixth form college that are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Economics Teacher to teach A-Level within the Economics and Business department. This sixth form college are seeking passionate candidates who have experience delivering economics at secondary/post 16 level, along with an understanding of the strategies required to motivate and enthuse students to raise achievement. Start date – 26th August 2025 Salary – up to £49,000 (pro rate for part time) Hours – Full – time (part time negotiable minimum 3 days) Responsibilities – * Regularly set and mark work according to departmental policy. * Monitor and report on the progress of students * Prepare materials and attend ‘Open Evenings’ * Participate positively in the Development and Self-Assessment process including biennial observation of own teaching and learning and the annual staff development interview. The successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent employer.
