Our Insurance client is seeking a Senior Broker Support Technician (Energy) 2 days in the office - GBP55k + Benefits

• Technical Insurance knowledge and the associated complexities to be able to both process and support the business in technical area, delivering a high-quality service to clients whilst remaining compliant with Company Policy and external regulation.
• Provide support & assistance to the Service Centre team in India.
• Understanding of the financial aspects of the end-to-end premium process, creating timely and accurate accounting transactions using the core processing system (Global XB).
• Strong understanding and experience working with the Bureau (Xchanging as was now DXC) in the workings of accounting and settlement (A&S) protocols and activity as they relate to the function of premium process and signings
• The role includes working with our Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support to clear all Financial Disciplines (bad debt, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, held funds, funding and signings) assigned to them in accordance with internal SLA's or escalated accordingly.
• Extensive understanding of Market Reform Contract (MRC).
• Working knowledge of Line Slips & Binding Authorities
• Attend business unit, client, underwriter or market meetings, providing technical input where required.
• A working understanding of all the resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements associated to the successful completion of day-to-day activities.
• Report where required the tracking of revenue at business unit level.
• Provide oversight and technical support to managers and team members across all locations to improve business knowledge, capability and enhance personal development.
• Knowledge of LORS (preferable but not essential)
• Technical Audit support where required

At least 3 years' experience working within a Lloyds Insurance Broker
Exp working on Energy
Exp in processing Line slips
Exp in the use of IPT Quote tax software (preferable but not essential)
A-level or equivalent standard of education (preferable)
