GPW Recruitment is seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join a well-established Civil Engineering, Utilities, and Construction company based in Northamptonshire. This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary of £43,000 - £46,000 per annum, plus great benefits. About the Role: As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance and best practices across multiple project sites in Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and the East Midlands. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct safety audits, inductions, and toolbox talks (TBT briefings). * Oversee accident investigations and RAMS reviews. * Ensure NERS/ISO compliance and assist with PAT testing. * Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all sites. What You Need: ✅ Essential: * CSCS Card & CITB Health & Safety Awareness. * Emergency First Aid & IOSH Certification. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ✅ Desirable: * NEBOSH Certification & Mental Health First Aid. * Background in Health & Safety/Construction. * Experience with auditing and compliance. The Offer: * £43,000 - £46,000 per annum. * Company van & fuel card. * Phone, laptop, and full PPE provided. * 20 days holiday + bank holidays. * Pension contributions. * Career progression into a SHEQ Managerial role. Work Environment & Hours: * 95% site-based, 5% office-based (1 day per week in the office). * Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week. * Limited night and weekend work. * WFH opportunities available after probation
