KS1 Teacher - Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assess, track, and support pupil progress to ensure strong educational outcomes
Take on subject leadership responsibilities in areas such as Phonics or Early Literacy
Provide clear, constructive feedback to pupils to support their development
Create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
Identify and support pupils with additional learning needs
Set clear, achievable learning goals tailored to individual students
Maintain high safeguarding standards at all times
KS1 Teacher - Person Specification
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Passionate about child development and high-quality education
Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
Knowledge of a community language is a plus, given the school's diverse pupil base
