Our partnering Secondary schools in Essex, are seeking qualified teachers to work as Secondary Supply Teachers and Bank Staff, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts.

As a Secondary Supply Teacher you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 25 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. You will cover classes in your subject specialism or will be given pre-planned work in a range of various subjects. It is your role as the Secondary Supply Teacher to facilitate the classes learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful Secondary Supply Teachers are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident, and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.

Our partnership schools are some of the leading schools Essex, with a variety of students from different backgrounds and communities. With free on-site parking available, this role is ideal for Secondary Supply Teachers with a full UK drivers license.

The desired Secondary Supply Teacher will have:

• A degree or equivalent education and hold UK QTS.
• Experience working with young people or a willingness to learn.
• Leadership skills and confidence to lead a classroom of up to 30 students.
• A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
