Site based Maintenance Electrician - Carlisle - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial & FMCG CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our global client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. This is a static contract, based in Carlisle, Cumbria. Package: ● Competitive salary between £40,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience) ● Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) ● Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed) ● 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays ● Generous workplace pension scheme ● Training, development & progression opportunities Responsibilities: ● Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly ● Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment ● Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality ● Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures ● Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades ● Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment Qualifications: ● Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent ● Holding up to date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations ● Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry ● Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry If you are a dedicated Maintenance Electrician looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply with your full CV or contact Bethany McCluskey at CBW Staffing Solutions
