Accounts Payable Team Member

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Team Member for a 12-month contract based in Derby (Hybrid) on behalf of our globally respected client who develops cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Purpose of the role:

The Accounts Payable Team Member will support business-as-usual (BAU) financial operations by processing transactions, resolving queries, and ensuring accuracy in SAP. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting process improvements and financial reporting.

As an Accounts Payable Team Member, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and resolving internal queries and out-of-process payments.

• Accurately processing data entry in SAP.

• Actioning financial reports and ensuring timely reconciliations.

• Supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance AP efficiency.

• Ensuring a high degree of accuracy in all accounts payable transactions and reports.

What we require from the candidate:

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable and financial transaction processing.

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
