About Our Client:
Our client who are a well-established and growing manufacturer within the Huddersfield area are known for their commitment to quality and innovation. As part of continued growth, they are looking for a skilled Edgebander Setter / Operator to join their dynamic production team.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the setting, operating, and maintaining automated edge banding machines , primarily Homag systems, to produce high-quality panels and components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Homag edge banding machines.
• Adjust settings for different materials and edge types.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the run.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures and company standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating and setting edgebanders (preferably Homag).
• Strong understanding of panel processing and edge banding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Self-motivated with good time management and teamwork skills.
