Salary: 45,000 - 60,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a Building Design practice. This job offers outstanding opportunities for a Building Surveyor with a strong drive to advance their career, a passion for collaborative teamwork, and experience in managing client relationships.

The Role:

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will take charge of delivering multi-disciplinary projects from concept to construction, contributing to their growing portfolio of complex and challenging projects across a range of market sectors. The client works in many sectors including local and central government, education, blue light, industrial, retail and commercial.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Building Surveyor:

• Delivering a variety of Building Surveying services across multiple projects in diverse sectors.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring effective service delivery for each project.
• Conducting building pathology, condition surveys, and due diligence assessments.
• Designing and specifying projects, including Net Zero initiatives.
• Overseeing pre- and post-contract duties and contract administration.
• Managing projects and applying standard building contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).

Requirements for the Senior Building Surveyor:

• Membership of the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)

• BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying Accredited degree.
• Good team working skills and ability to communicate well at all levels.
• Able to travel to other regional offices as and when required
• To collaborate with senior colleagues to drive a profitable service and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
