Science Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking an experienced Science Teacher for a full-time job in a SEND School in the West Midlands

To be considered you must have experience working as an SEN Teacher and an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with a caring and nurturing approach to your work.

• You must be a qualified SEN Teacher (QTS)
• Must have taught Science across KS3
• Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system
• Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
• Safeguarding level 1 trained
• PRU/Behaviour experience
• Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners

The school is looking for a Science Teacher

The school is a SEND Setting who are looking for a qualified Teacher. You will be delivering Science to learners based within KS3. These are young learners with additional behavioural, mental health needs. As such you must have a strong background having worked within an SEN school or PRU previously and be a strong Teacher.

This is a great opportunity to drive learning and influence positive behavioural changes.

Someone with a pro-active, engaging ability with young adults would be a great fit for this role. Being a SEND school, you must be diligent and professional, and committed to changing the lives of those you teach.

Science Teacher Summary

The school is looking for a strong Science Teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. To successfully apply you must be a fully qualified Teacher with excellent classroom practice and a love for SEND. You must also have worked with SEMH/SEBD and challenging behaviours.
