We are recruiting in the South West area for a motivated Fire Damper Engineer. You will be joining a well-established Ventilation specialist company, who has a nationwide presence and excellent further training programme for engineers. Applicants must be able to travel as company requirements change and good previous history working with Fire Dampers is essential for the role. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer for a well-established outfit
- Good understanding of BS 9999 and TR19 guidelines
- Ideally you will hold industry-relevant qualifications / training, such as: City & Guilds Fire Damper Testing and / or BESA
- Will have completed confined spaces training
- Flexible to travel as required
- Good literacy skills
- Confident using IT applications

The Role:
- Completing inspections and testing on Fire Dampers across a mix of Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Commercial and Public Sector sites
- Drop-testing of fire dampers
- Conducting performance assessments on fire dampers and associated systems and making recommendations to improve performance
- Working to strict health and safety guidelines at all times
- Operating independently as well as within teams on projects of varying sizes
- Producing regular service reports
- Representing the company in a professional manner
