Yard Operative

Holt Engineering are working with a global, forward-thinking business based in Southampton. They are looking for an experienced Yard Operative to join their team.

As a Yard Operative you will be supporting the production team by providing hands-on support.

This is a permanent based position working Monday - Friday 45 hours a week.

The duties for the successful Yard Operative will include:

Carrying out general repairs and maintenance of construction components
Basic level capentry
Trimming and timber frame construction
Assisting with manual labour duties
Forklift operation
Moving goods across the yard
Cleaning of areas, containers, units

To be considered for the Yard Operative role you must:

Hold a valid forklift licence (Preferable)
Hold a UK drivers licence
Previous experience in yard maintanence
Handled hand tools and power tools

The Yard Operative role is Paying 13- 14 Per Hour
