FARM ENGINEER

DAYS MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 6PM

40,000 - 44,000 per annum + Benefits

A Market leading Manufacturing company are currently looking for a new Farm Engineer to add to their current Engineering team. This company are enjoying a period of growth due to the nature of their products with in a stable industry. They are open to Engineers of differing levels of experience that are happy to contribute their skills to their existing working force.

Working from their manufacturing base locally to Telford, you will have the chance to be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance on their fast-paced production machinery being supported by a large team of engineers.

Role Description

• Ensure all relevant documents are filled in correctly and on time.
• Carry out routine maintenance work, changing fluids and lubricating parts etc, on a varied range of equipment used within the business.
• You are required to take all reasonable steps to safeguard your Health and Safety and that of any other person who may be affected by your actions.
• If you become aware that any of the equipment used within the business, may be faulty, it is your responsibility to immediately report to the Workshop Manager in order that it may be repaired or replaced.
• Inspecting, removing and replacing machinery within manufacturers guidelines.
• You will be expected to show the skill and aptitude required for any job you have been asked to complete

Skills and Qualifications

• Essential Agriculture background
• We do require them to be part qualified, fully qualified is not essential, but knowledge and skills is.
• Some workshop environment experience would be an advantage.
• Work on their own initiate and not require constant support.
• They must be driven and have a positive attitude.
• Essential experience in Hydraulics, Low Voltage Electrics, and pneumatics
• Welding, TIG and Mig a benefit, not essential as training can be given.
