About the Role
Long Term Futures is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming, inclusive primary school in Eastern Green, Coventry. This role requires patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm to help the child thrive. Experience with Team Teach is highly desirable. The position is long-term with the opportunity to become permanent - offering real career progression!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 tailored support for a child with ASD, promoting engagement and progress.
  • Implement effective strategies to support emotional regulation and social development.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions.

  • Create a positive and structured environment to help the pupil succeed.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD.

  • Team Teach training (desirable but not essential).

  • Minimum of six months' experience in a primary or SEN school setting.

  • A patient, understanding, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
