Project Engineer - 12-Month FTC

Location: Burton-on-Trent, UK
Salary: Up to 55,000
Travel: UK & EU (around 40%)

We're looking for a Project Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Based out of Burton-on-Trent, you'll take the lead on delivering key engineering projects across multiple UK sites. This role is ideal for someone who's hands-on, well-organised, and able to manage projects from start to finish. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with different teams, and making a real impact, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing engineering projects from planning to execution
• Working with stakeholders to keep projects on track
• Producing layout and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD (3D skills required)
• Ensuring projects comply with industry regulations
• Travelling to UK and European sites (up to 40% of the time)

What We're Looking For

• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Previous food industry experience is a must
• Full UK driving licence - essential

The Details

• Monday to Friday, generally 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, but flexibility is required around production shifts
• 12-month FTC, salary up to 55k
• Regular travel across UK & European sites
