Labourers x 2

Labourers required to assist tradespeople and site managers with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of a construction site. Duties may vary depending on the project but typically involve manual labour, site preparation, and general maintenance.

Project runs until September 2025

10 hours a day with possible Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Clearing and preparing construction sites before work begins.
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Supporting skilled workers such as carpenters, bricklayers, and plasterers.
• Mixing and applying materials like cement and mortar.
• Holding or moving materials in place as instructed.
• Digging trenches, setting up scaffolding, and assisting with groundwork.
• Erecting temporary fencing and barriers as needed.
• Wearing correct PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
• Following health and safety regulations and site procedures.
• Reporting any hazards or incidents to the site supervisor.
• Previous experience in construction is beneficial
• Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks and work in all weather conditions.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good time management and reliability.
• CSCS card
• Manual handling and first aid training (preferred).
