2D CAD Engineer/Estimator

Position: 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator
Location: Dudley

Annual Salary: 30,000
Weekly Hours: Mon to Thurs - 8am to 5pm, Fri - 8am to 4.30pm

We are currently looking for a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator, to work in a busy, expanding office environment for a Major Steel Company based in the heart of Dudley.

The candidate:

Must have the ability to read engineering drawings and be able to produce profile drawings using an AutoCAD 2d type software package.
Have previous experience from an Engineering background and/or working with Lantek software would be an advantage, although not essential.
Preferably be able to recognise material types e.g. S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316 etc.
Must be able to work to instruction and be flexible with roles in an extremely fast-moving environment.
Thrives working in a team environment in a busy office
Who can talk to customers and communicate effectively with them
