Trainee Estimator

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Trainee Estimator to Join their Pre-Construction team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in the East Midlands and will involve estimating work within Groundworks, Earthworks, S278 and More.

Trainee Estimator Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting in producing take-offs and cost database for analysis by others
• Assisting in the calculation the cost of materials, transport, labour and plant hire.
• Undergo regular site visits to understand the process/ timings and sciences of estimating including the realization of the labour/ plant and material aspect of any given construction process.
• Keeping up to date with inflation and projected timescale costs.

Trainee Estimator Requirements

• A hard working individual keen to progress within the role
• A passion to work within the civil engineering sector
• Computer literate
• Effective communicator - Both written and verbal
• Problem Solver
• Any estimating experience would be advantageous

Senior Estimator Benefits

• Salary - 25,000 - 30,000 DOE
• Based in East Midlands
