Transport Container Planner

Streamline Services currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Container Transport Planner to join our clients team in Tilbury! You will be part of a small team to support the smooth running of the transport operation on a day to day basis.

You will have direct communication with clients looking after requirements and SLA'S and be responsible for around 50 drivers providing a full coverage of work details, routes, compliance and updates.

This includes :

• Planning and managing container deliveries from Tilbury Port, London Cobelfret & London Gateway using VBS system.
• Ensuring routes are efficiently planned, adapt when required and ensure drivers are up to date with any traffic updates, delays etc.
• Book in / plan of sub contractors for additional works carried out.
• Supporting clients with enquiries and liaising with them to resloves any issues.
• Be part of an oncall rota to assist with OOH emergencies.
• Collating compliance and documents for deliveries etc.

You must have experiance using VBS and planning transportation of containers via road.

Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00 / 09:00-18:00

GBP35-55k dependent on experience.
