An established and successful company in Poole is seeking a detail-oriented
Accounts Assistant
to join their busy and friendly team. In this role, you'll be a valued team member interfacing with sales, service desk, and stock control departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit control management - monitoring customer accounts, chasing overdue payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining positive client relationships
Purchase ledger processing - logging and processing supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, and reconciling supplier statements
Daily invoicing and banking - generating customer invoices, recording payments, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate financial records
General accounts administration - filing important documents, responding to account queries, assisting with month-end procedures, and supporting the wider finance team as needed
Liaising between departments to ensure accurate financial information flows across the business
What You'll Need:
GCSE or equivalent qualifications (required)
Previous accounts experience (required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Sage 200 experience helpful but not essential full training provided
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Positive "can do" attitude with ability to build and maintain relationships
What's On Offer:
GBP24,000 per year plus quarterly bonus
Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
