Accounts Assistant


We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a company based near Chichester. You will have previous experience of working within accounts or finance and will play a key role in assisting the accounts team. Due to the remote location of this role, you will need your own transport.

As an Accounts Assistant your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete and correct
  • Processing reports
  • Managing and processing payments in Sage
  • Credit Control tasks
  • Supporting the finance team with general accounting duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within accounts
  • Experience with using Sage is beneficial
  • Experience with processing invoices in a timely manner

This is a full time temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate. The working hours will be Monday to Thursday 08:30am-17:00pm and Fridays 8am to 12pm.

The office is based near Chichester and is fully office based with working from home on Fridays paying an hourly rate between 13.74- 16.48 per hour depending on experience.
