Credit Controller


White Horse Employment are proudly partnering with a high-growth services business based in Devizes, supporting their search for a Credit Controller. They are a locally well-known and highly regarded company, with an excellent reputation with both their employees and customers.

This is a broad role, and will involve a wide variety of duties including:

  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers and agreeing terms of credit.
  • Resolving queries around payments and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter, ensuring timely debt payments and handling disputed bills through negotiation.
  • Driving continuous process improvement across the credit control function.

In order to be successful, you must have:

  • A robust understanding of credit control processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job type: Full time, Permanent

Salary: 27,000 to 29,000 per annum
