Frontline Recruitment Derby Ltd are working in partnership with a National Food Supplier which provides an extensive range of quality food solutions for all sectors from healthcare to pubs and restaurants. Due to their continuing success they are seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (electrically bias).

The client is a bespoke food manufacturer and have some bespoke equipment with PLC controls. Therefore knowledge of such equipment would be advantageous along with food maufacturing/fmcg. Also welding and or fabrication experience would also be absolutely beneficial to work on items such as;

• Cooking vessels
• Packaging machines.
• Refrigeration
• Steam boilers
• Air compressors would be an advantage.

Also, the successful candidate will be willing to carry out facilities work, building repairs etc. Participate and work towards all audit work internal and external.

The role is 6-2 Monday to Friday and paying GBP43k, there will be a need from time to time to change hours to suit the business needs so a willingness towards some flexibility towards working hours would be needed (no nights or weekends. Overtime is payable x1.5).

The successful candidate will be part of a small engineering team/small manufacturing site but a very good work environment. Hours allow a great work life balance. Pension is 3%, also death in service benefit, cycle to work, HAPI app.
