Site Service Engineer

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

• Ability to work with and care about your team
• This is a hands-on position and the ability to work with Stainless-steel sheet metal 1.6mm to 3mm or dairy pipe or schedule pipe is essential
• Working on customers sites installing pipe work or modifying pipe work with a team of their engineers
• Working in their workshop at Newark prepping pipe work for your site
• Reporting to management with the progress of projects and site activity
• Following environment and health & safety requirements.
• Continuously identify and forward ideas that will improve efficiencies.
• Traveling typically up to 2 hours radius from Newark.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Liaising with our and Projects team

Essential Criteria:

• Ability to weld dairy pipe and install, Working knowledge and experience of site work
• Good mechanical skills
• Read and understand simple layout drawings.
• A highly motivated
• Help plan projects and setup work for site
• TIG Welding essential. experience in installations as well as knowledge of mechanical engineering conveyors, pipe work, steam cooking vessels would be an advantage.
