Digital Bookkeeper

Digital Bookkeeper Location: Carmarthen Position: Permanent, full time Salary: £22,880.00-£25,000.00 per year I'm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients Digital Bookkeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software. Key Responsibilities * Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping services. * Update and maintain client records through relevant accounting software systems. * Prepare VAT returns, monitor deadlines, and address client queries. * Handle HMRC enquiries and provide accurate reporting. * Conduct bookkeeping preparation for a variety of business entities using both computerised and manual systems. * Support clients in transitioning to Making Tax Digital. * Train new clients on accounting software systems. * Assist with ad hoc project work for clients as needed. * Liaise with clients to address their bookkeeping needs and day-to-day queries. * Enroll clients in new software systems and ensure smooth transitions. Qualifications * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment. * Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, or Xero. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. * Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders within the organisation.
