Sheet Metal Worker

We’re hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering company in Oldham, supplying precision metal components to a variety of key sectors. This role offers long-term security and the opportunity to work with high-spec materials in a highly regulated environment. What’s on offer? * £17.00 - £20.00 per hour * Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm * Early finish on Fridays * 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Overtime available (paid at 1.5x) * Standard pension * Company events What will you be doing as a Sheet Metal Worker? * Cutting, bending, and forming sheet metal components to precise tolerances * Welding and fabricating mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and copper * Interpreting engineering drawings to produce accurate components * Working with TIG & MIG welding processes for light to medium gauge materials (1mm - 10mm) * Using press brakes, saws, and other fabrication machinery * Ensuring compliance with industry standards including NDT and X-ray inspections What do you need? * Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator * Ability to read and work from technical drawings * Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel * Competence in TIG & MIG welding * Previous work within highly regulated industries (desirable) If you're a skilled Sheet Metal Worker looking to secure a permanent position with long-term stability in a growing industry, apply today for consideration or speak with Joy at KPJ Group for more information.
