SERVICE ADVISOR Experienced Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor required for a Commercial Vehicle Repair company in Heathrow - Related Job Titles Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Fleet Scheduler / HGV Maintenance Planner Location of the Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor: Heathrow / Middlesex Salary of the Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor / Fleet Administrator: £32,000.00 - £37,000.00 pa plus overtime, bonus and benefits Hours of Work: Working Monday to Friday - 08.00 to 18:00 Benefits: Competitive salary + overtime Company pension Employee of the month bonus Free parking on site Employee discount My client are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy friendly service team, you will be providing services for a Commercial Vehicle Brand as well as a Commercial Vehicle Repairer working with variety of cars, vans, trucks and buses. They are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual with previous experience in a similar automotive role. It is their aim to ensure the automotive customers vehicles are back on road within the shortest time possible. You must have strong customer orientation with the ability to work in an organised & methodical manner in a fast-moving environment. You will have good communication skills and be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome. Main Duties for the Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor / Fleet Administrator include: Ensure customers get the best experience possible You will be responsible for booking in vehicles into the workshops, working with workshop controllers to manage the workshop loading, keeping customers up to date, and build relationships to deliver a first-class service. Advising customers, updating customer authority numbers, progress chasing and raising the correct documentation. Aim of first time approval and costing of jobs which includes both estimating and invoicing. You need to be honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and respond well to challenging situations. You will be confident when updating customers and focussed on following up to ensure the customer is fully satisfied . You will be able to adapt easily to changing situations. You will be able to deliver consistent performance in a fast-paced environment. Respond to all maintenance and repair requests ensuring all customer and vehicle data is captured. Active review of planned work to ensure customer readiness. Establish scope of repair and maintenance, gaining customer approval where required. Monitoring the repair status and clarification of additional repair services. Creation of basic cost estimates and invoices, including updates of Digital Service Records. Working as a team player, flexible and helpful ensuring support for both colleagues and customer. As the Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor / Fleet Administrator you will have: Experience working with Commercial Vehicles Display a high level of customer service and communication skills Technically minded with good mechanical knowledge Numerate Minimum 3 years’ experience IT Literacy Brilliant levels of communication written or verbal Enthusiastic, Flexible Team Player Excellent customer service skills Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and build relationships in all situations. Well organised with great time management skills. Resilience with the ability to work well under pressure and to targets. Ability to influence and negotiate in a professional manner.
