Electrical Design Engineer – South Yorkshire – Permanent – AutoCAD - £50-60k + overtime + BUPA * Location: South Yorkshire * Work Pattern: 4 Days in Office, 1 Remote * Software: 2D AutoCAD * Experience: Electrical Design Engineering Samuel Frank is recruiting for a South Yorkshire based engineering company as they’re looking to add a new Electrical Design Engineer to the team on a staff basis. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will work on a wide variety of complex projects and have the opportunity to progress to more senior roles in the department. Electrical Design Engineer’s key responsibilities: * Producing Single Line Diagrams & General Arrangement * Attending and contributing to design review meetings * Creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications * Produce documentation related to Factory Acceptance Testing and attend test sessions at panel manufacturer sites * Knowledge of industrial control systems including electrical distribution equipment, motor control centres and PLC control panels Electrical Design Engineer’s main requirements: * Strong Electrical Design background * Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD * Working knowledge of BS EN 60204 and BS7671 * Experience working on industrial or commercial projects * Ability to work effectively in an office-based team (4 days/week) The office is commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Rotherham, Batley, Bradford and Chesterfield.
