Associate /Associate Designate

They have a vast experience in refurbishment projects, which include commercial as well as residential buildings. In addition, their experience extends in the design of new build structures, as well as design of specialist structural elements including structural glass. our client have the need to source an Associate /Associate Designate level Structural Engineer. We can look at candidates at Senior Level looking to take the next step, or at candidate already working at this level who maybe see a bit of a glass ceiling ahead of them. Requirements: To be considered as a potential Associate, candidates should be Chartered. It may be acceptable that a Senior Engineer who has their exam taking place in the near future would also be considered for a role- although becoming an associate will be based, in part, on successfully becoming chartered. Candidates should have at least six or seven years relevant experience within a similar environment (with similar design experience as they will be exposed to), Including: 1. Detailed design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber building structures 2. Design of glass structures 3. Structural steelwork connection design and detailing 4. Temporary works design 5. Letter and report writing 6.
