Civil/Structural Technician * £37,000 - £45,000 plus benefits * AutoCAD / Revit * Consulting Engineers * Manchester City Centre THE COMPANY Our client is a firm of Consulting Engineers with offices in Manchester and London. Due to an increase in major project wards, they urgently need a Civil/Structural Technician in their Manchester office. You will be producing GA and detail working drawings using Revit / AutoCAD for a variety of projects. THE ROLE As a Civil/Structural Technician you will be producing Revit / AutoCAD drawings for a variety of healthcare, commercial and industrial projects or and the like. The Civil/Structural Technician will have around 3-10 years’ experience in the UK engineering consultancy sector. It is essential that you have a proven track record and knowledge within the creation of detailing with all the main construction materials and methods such as masonry, structural steel, reinforced concrete and timber. * You will be actively involved in projects from concept to completion. * Assist with technical reviews for design. * Preparation of Revit / AutoCAD drawings. * Report to Project Engineers including design team, site visits. * Work within a team and have the ability to work with nominal supervision and will be expected to liaise with other internal and external design team members on a proactive basis to resolve problems and manage drawing systems.
