Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer - £45k- Swindon Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading engineering client. They are looking for a supplier quality engineer to lead and support daily supplier management activities. The supplier quality engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues, and drive quality control processes. Key Responsibilities: * Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manage quality issues. * Investigate defects and non-conformities, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions. * Perform supplier audits and maintain accurate records of evaluations and corrective actions. * Establish and monitor KPIs to track supplier performance. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. * Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949) * Experience with APQP and PPAP processes. * Strong communication, and teamwork skills.
