Job Advert: Multi-Trade Operative - Southwark Council Location: Holmes Road Depot, 41-43 Holmes Road, London, NW5 3AN Pay Rate: £26.32 per hour Hours: 36 per week, 08:00 to 16:30 Contract: 10 March 2025 to 9 April 2025 Application Deadline: 5 March 2025 at 10:00 Southwark Council is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to carry out building repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work across occupied and void housing properties, as well as other council-owned premises. Key Responsibilities Complete emergency, routine, and planned repairs across multiple sites Carry out works to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and completing jobs right first time Undertake maintenance, renewals, and refurbishment in compliance with best trade practices and current regulations Work flexibly within the core hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday and 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday as directedRequirements Proven experience in building repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team A commitment to delivering high-quality workHow to Apply To be considered for this role, please send your CV, Right to Work proof, National Insurance proof, and Proof of Address to before the deadline.
