Client Manager

Sure Start Staff are working with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice who is looking for an experienced and client focused Manager or Accountant to join their team as a “Client Manager”. Pay: 40K-50K DOE Job Type: Permanent Start: Immediate Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5hours per week (can be flexible on start/finish times) Location: Manchester About the job Contributing to the growth and success of our clients’ firm, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting client partners and liaising directly with clients, providing excellent service on a day-to-day basis Key Responsibilities include * Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for a wide variety of clients. * Overseeing and communicating the preparation of year-end accounts and tax computations, ensuring compliance with deadlines (FRS102/FRS105). * Preparing company tax returns and drafting VAT returns/CIS submissions. * Providing financial and business advisory services, including income extraction, tax planning and other strategic support aspects. * Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping to develop their skills and maintain high professional standards Supporting the client management team and partners. * Communicating with clients and confidently managing expectations. * Liaising with HMRC and other external entities as needed Requirements * Qualified ACA/ACCA/AAT or part-qualified ACA/ACCA. * A proven track record in client management and business advisory - Managing a varied client portfolio. * Experience within a practice environment. * Experience using Xero/Sage/Taxcalc/Dext or other similar platforms. * Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Tax Regulations and Financial Reporting standards.
