Our client, a prominent fintech company based in London, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work closely with external stakeholders, to drive business improvements and deliver technology solutions. Key Responsibilities: * External Stakeholder Management: Engage with external clients, partners, and vendors to understand their business needs, requirements, and pain points related to money markets. Build strong relationships and act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. * Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements from external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives. Develop clear functional and technical specifications to drive system enhancements and integrations. * Solution Design & Implementation: Work closely with development teams to ensure that the designed solutions meet the needs of external stakeholders. Manage the end-to-end process of solution implementation, including testing, troubleshooting, and providing ongoing support. * Client & Partner Support: Provide external stakeholders with technical support, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration of money market products, systems, and technologies. Offer expert guidance on optimizing processes and resolving technical challenges. * Process Optimization & Automation: Identify areas for process improvement and automation within money market transactions and operations, and collaborate with internal teams to design and implement these changes in partnership with external parties. * Reporting & Communication: Regularly update senior management and external stakeholders on the status of projects, timelines, and any technical challenges. Prepare and present reports and insights to help drive informed decision-making. Key Skills and Experience: * Money Markets Expertise: Proven experience in money markets (FX, Repo, Bonds, Treasury products), with a solid understanding of how these markets function and the challenges faced by external stakeholders. * Technical Proficiency: A good grasp of financial systems, market infrastructure, and the ability to work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet stakeholder needs. * Business Analysis: Solid experience in gathering business requirements, writing clear technical specifications, and supporting project delivery, with a focus on external-facing solutions. * Business Process Modelling & Data Modelling: Strong expertise in Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) and UML, with the ability to effectively model and document business processes. Solid experience in data modelling to ensure accurate and efficient data representation. * Financial Industry Messaging Protocols: Familiarity with industry-standard messaging protocols, including FiX, ISO15022, ISO20022, XML, JSON, and CSV, with a solid understanding of their role in data exchange within the financial services and money markets domains. * Database & SQL: Proficiency in SQL Server, with experience in querying, managing, and manipulating data. Knowledge of database design and optimization techniques to support business requirements. * Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Agile Methodologies: Hands-on experience working within the Agile development environment, with a clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Ability to apply Agile principles to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. * Behaviour Driven Development (BDD): Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and use of Gherkin syntax to define application behavior and enhance collaboration between business and technical teams. * Enterprise Architect & Salesforce: Proficiency with Enterprise Architect for system design and documentation. Experience working with Salesforce to understand and integrate business requirements into CRM systems. * Tools & Communication: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) for documentation, reporting, and presentations. Qualifications: * BCS Business Analysis Diploma preferred * CISI Investment Operations Certificate preferred
