What You'll Do (More Than Just Crunch Numbers): As our Bookkeeper, you'll be the financial backbone of our investee companies – 5-10 dynamic recruitment micro-businesses. You'll be their trusted advisor, ensuring their financial records are impeccable and providing key insights to support their growth. Here's a glimpse of what awaits you: * Daily: Dive into the details – bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and transaction categorisation. You'll be the master of keeping the financial ship sailing smoothly. * Weekly: Connect with our investee owners during check-in calls, participate in team meetings, and ensure compliance is always top-notch. * Monthly: Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) by the 5th of the month, prepare and file VAT returns, and process payroll with precision. * Quarterly: Participate in performance reviews, identify process improvements, and gather feedback from our investee companies. * Annually: Support the management accountant with year-end accounts and personal tax return preparation.
