Senior Electronics Design Engineer

An exciting Hybrid opportunity is available for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a small R&D team based in Newport, Isle of Wight. You will be working on new R&D products and will be a key member of the development team, working on the design of exciting products for a wide range of applications in the defence sector. Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job: * Take customer requirements and work with the wider team to establish how to develop new products * Design custom electronic boards, verify and test * Liaise with customers to assist with integration and problem resolution Key skills/experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job: * Proven significant experience in electronics design – analogue, digital and PCB design * Board design including schematic capture and PCB layout * Experience designing with microprocessors/microcontrollers, memory devices, programmable logic, power supplies, wireless communications This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to gain exposure to design for a variety of industry sectors. This is a hybrid job offering flexible working. Applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance! The role is commutable from Southampton, Hampshire and Portsmouth, Hampshire
