Science Teacher

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. As a Biology teacher, you will play a critical role in educating and inspiring students up to GCSE level. This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal development of young minds. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to students up to GCSE level Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth Develop and implement educational activities to facilitate student understanding and application of scientific concepts Provide regular feedback to students to support their learning and progress Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curriculum and teaching methods Actively participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or relevant field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification Proven experience teaching Science or Biology at the secondary level, with a focus on GCSE curriculum Strong knowledge of educational best practices and learning theories Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles Day-to-day As a Science Teacher, you will spend your days planning and delivering dynamic Biology lessons, engaging with students to foster their understanding of scientific concepts. You will collaborate with colleagues, provide feedback to students, and participate in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching skills and contribute to the school community
