Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer

Our client is a well-established Water Hygiene / Treatment company, with a strong presence in the South East. They are seeking a multi-faceted engineer who can undertake a mix of Water Hygiene and Remedial duties in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines. The role will involve travelling as per company requirements. You will be required to undertake a wide range of duties, including installations of varying sizes and maintenance of existing systems, so applicants with a robust skillset would suit this role. Candidates must be based around the following locations: Bromley, Sidcup, Erith, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Gravesend, Rochester, Swanley, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Oxted, Reigate, Redhill, Kingston upon Thames, Richmond, Barking, Hornchurch, Dagenham, Rainham, Ilford, Grays, Tilbury, Chigwell, Enfield.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must be hold plumbing qualifications, such as: Level 1, 2, 3 NVQ, G3 Vented & Unvented ticket
- Will have strong experience undertaking remedial / plumbing duties within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company
- Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Able to write detailed service reports
- Flexible to travel as the company needs change
- IT literate
- Good written ability

The Role:
- Undertaking a range of L8 compliance duties across a mixed portfolio of local authority, commercial, manufacturing and public sector sites
- TMV inspections, servicing and replacements
- Inspections, cleans and refurbishments of cold water storage tanks
- Showerhead descales
- Flushing of little used outlets
- Installations of cylinders and calorifiers
- Fault-finding on site and making technical recommendations
- Deadleg removals
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Keeping up-to-date logbooks and works records
