Industrial Electrician West Thurrock £ 19.23 per hour Pin Point Recruitment are looking for a Industrial Electrician for a chemical manufacturing company based in West Thurrock The company have been established since 1979 and cover 9 sites across the UK with the Grays site being the headquarters. They supple both bulk and packed chemicals to a variety of industries including agriculture, water, steel production, energy utilities, pharmaceuticals, and homecare products. Company Benefits: * Life Cover from day one of employment * Private Health Care * Death in service * Auto-enrolment Company Contributory Pension Scheme * Cycle to work scheme Industrial Electrician Job Role: * Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations (BS7671). * Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus including LV Circuits, Electrical motors, power and lighting, using test equipment, * Routine checking and testing of all types of electrical systems, equipment and components * Health and safety at work, ability to identify hazards, safe working requirements and procedures. Industrial Electrician Skills needed: * Vast experience working in a heavy industrial environment is essential * Minimum qualification of the City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate: * Electrical Installation Part II or III, * or Electrical Plant Part II or III, * NVQ Level III, completed a recognized apprenticeship. * BS7671 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulation * Working knowledge of Instrumentation and Control * Knowledge of equipment isolation procedures * Good knowledge of Fault finding/trouble shooting Skills, interpretation and understanding of electrical drawings and schematics. * Good knowledge of electrical Variable Speed Drives, control and electromechanical systems.
