Manufacturing Team Leader £32,000 - £35,000 6AM – 6PM / 6PM – 6AM (3 Days, 3 Off, 3 Nights, 3 Off) Oldham We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations within a manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for leadership, process optimization, and high-quality production standards. Team Leader Skills, Experience, and education required: * Experience within a Manufacturing environment. * Experience leading a Manufacturing / Production team, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. * Strong understanding of ISO 9001. * Experience troubleshooting defects and optimising processes. * Valid FLT license * Knowledge of health and safety regulations, 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles (Desirable) * Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery (Desirable) Team Leader Key Responsibilities and Duties: * Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production employees to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. * Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of plastic extrusion machinery. * Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times. * Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and maintenance activities. * Coordinate with other departments (quality control, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations. * Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, safety updates, and key objectives. * Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members. * Address any operational issues promptly and work towards effective resolutions. * Ensure that production targets are met on time, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
