About the Role We are recruiting a Town Planner on behalf of our client, a leading global design, engineering, and management consultancy. Specialising in sustainable planning and design, our client works across sports surfaces, residential, corporate, and public spaces, integrating natural and man-made elements to create resilient solutions. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a dedicated Town Planner to support development projects. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, delivering high-quality facilities while collaborating with other specialist consultants. Key Responsibilities * Conducting site visits. * Providing planning and development advice. * Liaising with internal teams to discuss project requirements. * Preparing reports and draft proposals for client approval. * Engaging with sub-consultants and key stakeholders. * Assisting in public consultations and stakeholder meetings. Requirements * A relevant degree accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). * Chartered membership of the RTPI (or working towards qualification). * Interest in sports and the environment. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple planning applications. * Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. * Experience in the sports sector (preferred but not essential).
